Enclosure Kit

At Middleton Machine, we provide our customers with turnkey sheet metal fabrication solutions, meaning we not only provide metal fabrication, but we can take care of any finishing services as well. This fabricated steel enclosure project for the research industry required us to fabricate, plate, and silk-screen the product for our customer.

This enclosure kit is fabricated from 16, 18, and 20 gauge cold rolled steel and meets dimensional tolerances of ±.005". After shearing and punching, the parts were fabricated and assembled using our punch press, press brake, and Permserter equipment. All parts were deburred and ground to the appropriate finish on our Timesaver machine before being plated in Type II yellow zinc plate per the customer's specifications. Parts were then custom printed using silk screening and visually inspected for appearance and dimensional tolerance before shipment. The finished enclosure measures 12" x 12" x 6" and was fabricated with a lead-time of six weeks.
